It sold out repeatedly for months on end, and Stanley cup restocks were typically gone within a day or two. But there finally seems to be a somewhat healthy supply of the popular drinkware available. Fans of the Stanley Quencher tumbler say that while there’s a lot to love about it (like the fact that it fits perfectly in your car’s cupholder), the cup’s main appeal is that it makes it easy and fun to drink more water throughout the day. The design is made from 90% recycled stainless steel and promises to keep drinks hot for seven hours, cold for 11 hours and iced for up to two whole days. The ergonomic handle also makes it easy to tote around, while the 40-ounce capacity ensures that you don’t have to get up from your desk to refill it multiple times a day in order to stay hydrated.

After fluctuating in and out of stock for months, the Stanley Quencher H2.o FlowState is currently available at multiple stores. Here’s more info on where you can buy it, and which places have the best selection of colorways and sizes available.

You can find the 40-ounce Stanley cup in stock on the brand’s site in 15 different colorways at the moment. It’s also available in 64-, 30-, 20- and 15-ounce sizes for varying prices, but the available colorways depend on size.

REI has 13 variations of the Stanley tumbler to choose from—including some of the newer colors. If you’re not an REI member, you’ll want to add a couple to your cart to qualify for the $50 free shipping minimum.

Dick’s Sporting Goods has the widest array of colors available at the moment. Shop 23 unique colorways of the 40-ounce Stanley tumbler, including patterned designs, like Deep Iris Speckle above.

There are several selling points of the Stanley tumbler that have made it a social media sensation. For one, it holds 40 ounces of water and keeps that water exceptionally cold for up to two days per the company’s website. Many users say those facts make it easier for them to drink more water throughout the day. Plus, has a convenient handle, a straw and is just overall aesthetically pleasing—it’s practically a status symbol at this point.

For the most part, they don’t. The top screws on to create a tight seal and the new version of the Stanley tumbler has lining around the straw and a closure option to prevent spills. That said, if you tip it completely upside down water will inevitably leak out of the straw.

According to the brand, the Stanley Quencher H2.o FlowState can keep water cold for 11 hours and iced for up to two days. While it’s not exactly the same design, one Forbes Vetted staffer tested her Stanley IceFlow and found that it held ice for 10+ hours, even without the lid.

Although the Stanley tumbler is no longer perpetually sold out, it’s still pretty popular. Some retailers are still having trouble keeping the brighter colorways in stock, which shows the demand is still there. Plus, a lot of competitor drinkware brands have started releasing their own large tumblers with handles, indicating that shoppers continue to be interested in the design.

She found that the Stanley IceFlow kept ice cold for longer than the Yeti Rambler, but the Rambler has the added functionality of keeping hot beverages warm as well. Ultimately, you can’t go wrong with a cup from either company.

Based on our research, Yeti appears to be slightly more expensive. The 30-ounce Yeti Rambler is $42, while the 30-ounce Stanley Quencher retails for $35.
